Seven Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails continue their hunger strike in protest of its continued crimes against the prisoners, amid the deterioration of their health conditions and the escalation of threats to their lives.
The media advisor to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, Hassan Abd Rabbo, told Wafa that the striking prisoners are Kayed Phosphorous, who has been on strike for 101 days, Miqdad Al-Qawasma for 94 days, Alaa Al-Araj for 77 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 68 days, Shadi Abu Aker for 60 days, Ayyad Al-Harimi for 31 days, and Raafat Abu Rabei the striker for about week.
Abed Rabbo warned of the serious health conditions of the striking prisoners, especially phosphorous and Qawasma, who have been on strike for more than three months, as there is a fear that they may suffer a sudden health setback or the death of one of them as a result of a lack of fluid in the body, pointing out that the occupation forces tried to forcibly feed the prisoner Qawasma in an attempt to break his strike .
Yesterday, 272 Palestinian prisoners suspended their hunger strike, which lasted for nine days, after the occupation authorities acquiesced to their demands.
