On Saturday, an Airbus A380 landed at Düsseldorf Airport for the first time in more than a year and a half.
The world's largest passenger aircraft last flew to the airport in March 2020.
Then came a long corona break.
The plane operated by the Emirates airline arrived from Dubai in the evening.
Düsseldorf - From now on, the airline wants to regularly fly to Düsseldorf with the A380.
The giant jet began regular service on July 1, 2015 between the third largest German airport and Dubai.
Because of the slump in passenger numbers in the corona pandemic, the Arab airline had temporarily stopped operating the Airbus A380 on this route.
The airline plans to take delivery of the last three aircraft of this type in November.
