The Director of the Public Institution for Housing Branch in the Southern Region, Engineer Hassan Falah, stated that 160 offices will be allocated in youth housing in the Al-Atm area as a first stage, and 280 offices will be allocated for labor housing in the city of Al-Baath in next December and within the allocation plan for 2021.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Eng. Falah indicated that work is currently underway to complete the work of the exchanges in the second phase of youth housing in the Al-Atm area, where the completion rate of the general site has reached 45 percent.
He explained that the housing branch receives the subscribed workers to complete the allocation stage, where a committee will be formed from the Ministry of Housing for priority allocation by registration under the books and labor gatherings, and housing is selected according to the priority of the book for the subscribed worker.
He added that the number of subscribed workers who were previously allocated and reviewed the Foundation's branch until today reached 136 out of 280 subscribers, noting that there are 208 apartments previously allocated but not handed over to their owners as a result of the conditions that the governorate went through.
