Because the previous operator is ceasing, Bad Wiessee is looking for a new leaseholder for the kiosk at the Abwinkl outdoor pool.

We want innovative ideas and a contemporary concept.

Bad Wiessee

- Even if all the signs are currently pointing to autumn and winter - the municipality of Bad Wiessee has the next summer bathing firmly in view.

She is only looking for a new tenant for her kiosk at the Abwinkl swimming pool next season.

The previous operator, Petra Lattauer, who has been responsible for catering for bathers since 2013, is retiring.

"She has always run the kiosk with a lot of passion," says Sissi Mereis from the property management of the municipality.

Now a new chapter is to be opened in Abwinkl.

The concept should go beyond curry sausage and red and white French fries

Bad Wiessee wants a tenant with his own concept.

One that, in addition to classics such as red and white fries and curry sausage, also offers something innovative and contemporary.

“We're open to everything,” says Mereis.

Only the framework conditions are given.

The kiosk should be open at least from June 1st to August 31st and provide both the guests of the community swimming pool and the walk-in customers with food and drinks.

“There's a lot going on there in summer,” Mereis knows.

City hall employee Mereis: "I've had a lot of questions"

The municipality employee responsible for the new lease is confident that a successor will be found and that the kiosk will be available as usual next summer.

Some interested parties have already reported to the town hall to get more detailed information.

"I've had a lot of questions, for example about the season or the equipment of the kiosk," reports Mereis.

The contract with the new tenants will initially be limited to 2024, explains the employee.

The reason lies in the advanced age of the kiosk building.

“It may have to be replaced soon,” says Mereis.

Interested parties can apply here

Interested parties who still have questions about the kiosk can contact Sissi Mereis by calling 08022 / 8602-49.

She accepts applications for the lease in PDF format by email to s.mereis@bad-wiessee.de.
