Puchheim - “We want to work with the city.” This was emphasized by Christoph Kiemle as a representative of the “Projekt Alpenstrasse” (BIPA) citizens' initiative when handing over 200 signatures to Puchheim's mayor, Norbert Seidl.
At the same time, however, the citizens' initiative wants to emphasize its demand for more transparency and citizen participation to prevail in the planned construction project on the Alpine Road. "But that shouldn't end with the choice of color for the houses," emphasized Kiemle. With the signatures, a traffic concept and the preservation of the biotope-like condition of the small Ascherbach are demanded at the same time.
Nevertheless, you can see a concession on the part of the city in the citizens' initiative.
BIPA representative Christoph Kiemle described the recent conversation between representatives of the citizens' initiative and the mayor as "very constructive." Citizens' initiative wanted to allow so far.

When handing over the signatures, however, Seidl pointed out that the city council always had the final decision.
Responding to the demands of BIPA, Seidl explained that the development of a traffic concept in the context of such construction measures was standard anyway.
In the case of the small Ascherbach, however, it still has to be clarified to what extent one can speak of a biotope-like condition.
A time frame for the start of construction cannot be given at all at this point in time, Seidl continues.
It will also depend a lot on what type of apartments you ultimately build.
