The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 14,502 new infections and 460 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the total number of injuries in Brazil has reached 21,71,843 since the start of the pandemic, while the official number of deaths has risen to 605,139.
Brazil is the third country in the world affected by Corona after the United States and India in terms of the number of infected people and the second in terms of deaths.
