A ministry spokesman warned that there was still a risk of infection before the autumn and winter months, when life was mainly played out indoors.

Across all age groups, the increase in the vaccination rate from October 11 to 21 was 1 point and climbed to 64.5 percent.
The Robert Koch Institute assumes that the overall vaccination rate is somewhat higher than shown in the statistics.
