Czech university professor Viera Tidletova emphasized that Damascus represents an important crossroads of cultures and religions, describing it as a mythical city and that its building systems include charming houses and palaces.
In a wide report that she published on the Nova Orientatsy website about a visit she made to Syria, Tidletova spoke about the beauty of the streets and old houses of Damascus, about Mount Qasioun, the generosity and good treatment of its residents with foreign visitors, noting that Damascus was created for stories of adventures and legendary tales.
