The anticipation for Helene Fischer's music documentary was great.

But "In the intoxication of the senses" could not convince their fans, as the quotas clearly show.

Munich - Last Saturday (October 16) the time had finally come: Helene Fischer's long-awaited music film "In the intoxication of the senses" celebrated its TV premiere.

"I've never shown myself so personally," the Schlager Queen promised in advance.

And with that, the pop singer didn't promise too much: there was howling, snogging and Helene Fischer was more socially critical than ever.

Still, the odds were anything but great.

Helene Fischer: disappointed fans after the premiere of “Im Rausch der Senses”

Helene Fischer (all information about the pop singer) had certainly imagined it differently.

For an hour, the pop singer presented every song on her new album, revealed the meaning behind the lyrics and gave insights into the rehearsals for the individual music videos.

But that was apparently not private enough for her Schlager fans.

Disappointed, they tweeted the frustration of their soul and relentlessly disassembled “In the intoxication of the senses”.

Most of the disappointed fans had a problem with the implementation, so the film is not a documentary, but a pure commercial for "Rausch" - and that at prime time.

Many had simply imagined something different.

However, there are also voices that defend Helene Fischer (the most successful German pop singers of all time).

After all, the TV viewers got exactly what was promised.

A musical journey through their new album.

The quotas speak for themselves, however, as they were quite modest.

Quota disaster for Helene Fischer: "In the intoxication of the senses" could not convince

Actually, ZDF cleverly placed the Helene Fischer film (These are the biggest hit shows on German television) in the evening program - namely after the consistently high-rated “Erzgebirgskrimi”.

In Mainz one could look forward to 6.83 million viewers - the absolute top figure last Saturday.

But after the killer was caught and the crime story over, the ratings dropped rapidly.

Only 2.81 million people saw "Helene Fischer

- In the intoxication of the senses", the market share was 10.6 percent.

The ZDF was also unable to score with the young audience, who otherwise very reliably tuned in to the “Helene Fischer Show”: only 5.7 percent tuned in.

For comparison: In January 2015, Helene Fischer's “Color Game” tour was broadcast on ZDF.

The pop singer thus achieved a market share of 12.9 percent and among 14 to 49 year olds a market share of 9 percent.

Even with our hit-loving neighbors, the interest in Helene was not as great as expected: In Austria only 194,000 ORF viewers tuned in.
