1. FC Kaiserslautern honors its long-time player and goalkeeping coach Gerry Ehrmann with the Golden Merit Pin.
It will be awarded during the home game against the Würzburger Kickers on October 31, announced the third division soccer team on Saturday.
Ehrmann moved to Kaiserslautern in 1984 and became a German champion with FCK in 1991 and 1998, and won the DFB Cup in 1990 and 1996.
Kaiserslautern - After his active career, he worked 24 years as a goalkeeping coach for the Red Devils and brought out numerous talents such as Tobias Sippel, Tim Wiese, Roman Weidenfeller and Kevin Trapp.
