The first round of public participation in the large Altomünster local development project officially started on the Sunday of the parish fair at eleven o'clock sharp.
It is about the future of the main town and the neighboring district of Stumpfenbach.
The motto is: “Shaping the future!” Citizens can post their wishes and suggestions in the town hall mailbox or in the mailboxes on the project information boards that are attached to specially erected construction fences. Two boards have been set up in the main town until November 14th: one on the town hall square, the other at the train station. A third board is in Stumpfenbach. Two more are traveling in Altoland and will be set up in rotation in the districts. Alternatively, online participation is also possible. The address is: www.jetzt-mitmachen.de/isekaltomuenster/
With the help of the DACHAUER RUNDSCHAU, information flyers were distributed to households in Altomünster last week. “A very helpful measure,” said Altomünster's mayor Michael Reiter (FWG), praising the action. "The level of prior knowledge of the citizens is very high," said Dipl. Ing. (FH) Sigrid Hacker, one of the managing directors of the Munich urban planning office Dragomir, which is accompanying the municipality during the state-funded project.
Together with the project manager Agnes Bär, M. Sc.
for urban and regional planning, and the landscape architect Christof Pflaum was in charge of the information booth.
The planners were supported by numerous councilors from the town hall parliamentary groups as well as experts from the Altomünster administration.
Reiter expects a high level of participation in the project, which runs under the acronym "ISEK", which stands for "Integrated Urban Development Concept", a state-funded planning measure.
