The seven-day incidence of new corona infections in Hamburg rose to almost 100 on Saturday.
The health authority gave the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days with 99.0 - after 94.3 on Friday and 60.5 a week ago.
The number of people who have died from the virus since the pandemic began, reportedly increased by 16 to 1,782.
Hamburg - 266 new infections were added on Saturday.
That was 73 less than on Friday, but 89 more than on Saturday a week ago.
