It is a "side effect" that the government seems ready to assume.
Some French people should indeed be able to benefit several times from the "inflation allowance" of 100 euros announced this Thursday evening by Jean Castex.
This aid intended for 38 million French people who receive less than 2,000 euros net per month will in fact be paid by Urssaf for self-employed persons, by their companies for employees or by pension funds for retirees.
And among these different profiles, those who combine several employers or different statuses could receive the premium twice, as noted by BFM.
Keep it simple
Faced with the fear of a return of the yellow vests on the roundabouts, the government had wanted to set up a simple and fast aid. It is for this reason that he opted for this premium based on the single scale rather than a - very expensive - reduction in taxes or a complex fuel check to implement. To put it simply, it is therefore the employers who will distribute the aid directly to their employees who receive less than 2,000 euros per month, before being reimbursed by the State. Thus, an employee who works in several companies, earning less than 2,000 euros in each of them, should be able to receive several times the premium. It is the same for those who accumulate a salary with a status of autoentrepreneur (bonus paid via theUrssaf) or retirement (premium paid by the pension fund).

BFM,
Bercy recognizes that these side effects will be difficult to avoid, and seems to assume the possibility that the indemnity may be paid several times.
