Vincent van Gogh's world-famous paintings hang in many different places around the world.
Modern digital technology makes it possible to marvel at the works in one place.
Bremen - The colorful world of images by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh can be experienced in a multimedia art exhibition in Bremen. In an old factory hall, the paintings are enlarged several times and projected onto the walls, floor and ceiling with the help of 35 video beamers and move across the room. Famous works by the artist such as “Starry Night” or “Sunflowers” can be seen. The light installation is accompanied by classical music.
In addition to the video show, the exhibition shows pictures by the Dutch artist as replicas in their original size.
It also provides information on the life of the painter, born in 1853, who only became famous around the world after his death.
With the help of virtual reality glasses, visitors can take a tour of Van Gogh's house and have their own picture projected on the wall at a drawing and painting station.
