The quantity of grain cotton received at the Maharda gin since the beginning of the receiving operations exceeded 244 tons from the farmers of Hama and the Al-Ghab area.
And the director of the Maharda gin, Asaad Qalawez, said in a statement to SANA reporter that there are batches arriving successively from the farmers, while the cotton harvest continues, explaining that the quantities received are currently being collected within the warehouses of the gin, and they are all of the agricultural cotton, from which the seeds are processed and delivered to the Foundation for Seed Multiplication, especially the cultivar Aleppo 124 so that the Foundation distributes it to farmers so that it can be replanted.
He pointed out that the mill provides all the necessary facilities for suppliers to receive the crop.
