Morn's strategy in a book

Teacher Wafaa Youssef from the Aleppo Education Directorate participated in writing the second part of the book (Innovative Educational Methods and Games from the Field) through the axis (Moren's Strategy for People with Mild Mental Disabilities).

This book aims to acquaint teachers with modern educational methods and methods according to the strategy of learning through play. It was co-authored by 28 male and female teachers from 10 governorates. It is an extension of the first part of the book (Innovative educational methods and games from the field), which provided educational methods for teachers of the first cycle through play.

In a statement to the SANA reporter, teacher Wafaa Youssef indicated that she chose to present this strategy to develop receptive and expressive language skills for people with simple mental disabilities through expressive free activities by integrating directed education and distance learning with the aim of compensating for educational loss in light of the Corona pandemic and presenting it on educational platforms.

She pointed out that this strategy includes 3 methods, the first is the Joy Olympiad, and contributes to compensating the educational loss for children with mild disabilities and Down syndrome, whose intelligence rates exceed 55 percent. The three have various stimuli that contribute to their integration. The third is activating the communication cycle between the teacher and the parents and giving them an educational plan or activity and skill for the child and enabling him to implement it.

Youssef indicated that she also presented a strategy of the orbits method (WSW) to develop creative thinking for the secondary stage, which is based on the integration between the Madarat program, which includes developing learners' patterns from the sensory and visual side.

It presented new educational methods that contribute to introducing the teacher to modern methods and how to present scientific information according to the study plan, in addition to categorizing educational games, extracurricular activities and teaching aids that the teacher needs and introducing him to using the ambassador’s method by presenting children to representative scenes bearing human and emotional values ​​that express peace, which is one of the axes of the subject Emotional learning.
