A parcel delivery woman tried to avoid a traffic jam on the sidewalk in Erfurt - and in the process caused property damage of around 30,500 euros.
The 33-year-old wanted to sneak past a tram stop on the sidewalk, where she severely damaged the display board for passengers with the roof of her van, as the police announced on Saturday.
Erfurt - double bad luck: When the accident was recorded, it turned out that the 33-year-old was "probably causing the accident" under the influence of drugs, said a spokesman.
They are now being investigated for road traffic hazard, and their driver's license has been confiscated until further notice.
