This (22nd) afternoon, officers from the Special Duty Squad of the Mong Kok Police District launched an anti-vice operation code-named "Search". They dispatched officers to disguise as customers and smashed a suspected prostitution establishment at a unit at No. 61 Tai Nan Street, Mong Kok, and arrested one 55. A local man surnamed Wang is suspected of "managing a place of prostitution" and violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Chapter 599F). Another 47-year-old local woman surnamed Wang said " "A wanted person found" was replaced.
The two are now being detained for investigation.
During the operation, personnel seized evidence such as account books, condoms, advertising lights and towels.
