Out of 147 cartoonists from 43 countries, Syrian cartoonist Raed Khalil won the Achievement Award at the first international Teach Vertu cartoon competition in Britain.
The winning artist Khalil's painting depicted, in a very significant paradox, the reality of dealing with communication sites and using their symbols in investing time and work.
The theme of the first session of this competition was devoted to the challenges of information technology and work, as its prizes went to artists from Iran, Ukraine and Syria.
The artist Khalil had previously won the award of the Salon of Humor and Visual Arts in Romania a few days ago.
