Dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah participated this evening in a solidarity stand in support of Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike in Israeli occupation prisons.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil that roamed the streets of the city raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the hunger strikers and banners calling for their release, especially that some of them have reached the stage of danger that threatens their lives as a result of the deliberate medical negligence policy practiced by the occupation authorities against them.
Seven Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are continuing their hunger strike in protest of its continued crimes against the prisoners, amid the deterioration of their health conditions and the escalating dangers threatening their lives.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
