The number of corona cases continues to increase in Brandenburg.
The seven-day incidence rose to 81.7 from 78.5 the previous day, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.
A week ago, the number of infections within a week per 100,000 inhabitants was 54.2.
Across Germany, the seven-day incidence reached 100.0 for the first time since mid-May on Saturday, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
Potsdam - Cottbus reported the highest incidence values with 157.1.
This is followed by the southern districts of Elbe-Elster (108.8) and Spree-Neisse (108.0).
The lowest values were determined in the independent city of Brandenburg / Havel with 29.2 and in the district of Uckermark (33.0).
Within one day, 320 people in Brandenburg were infected with the corona virus.
On Friday, new corona infections had reached 685, the highest level since April.
Six new deaths related to Covid 19 disease were added within 24 hours.
The seven-day hospitalization incidence - the number of patients per 100,000 population who were hospitalized with Covid 19 disease within a week - rose slightly to 2.2 from 2.09 on Friday.
115 patients are currently being treated in clinics, 24 of which are in intensive care, 19 of which have to be ventilated.
2.1 percent of the available intensive care beds are occupied by Covid 19 patients.
The number of infected and sick people is estimated at around 4,000, a week ago it was around 3,200.
