Jaromir Shlapata, head of the Czechoslovakian Institute of International Relations, stressed that the terrorist bombing that targeted a military overnight bus in Damascus was a "cowardly act" and conclusive evidence of the bankruptcy of terrorist organizations and the criminal forces supporting them.
Shalabata made it clear in a statement to SANA reporter in Prague today that the continuation of terrorist operations in Syria is part of the grand conspiracy led by the United States and Western and regional countries that revolve in its orbit and implement its agendas with the aim of prolonging the crisis to serve their interests, expressing his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people and their cohesion with their army and leadership to thwart foreign plans against dullness.
Shalabata stressed that Syria will remain a symbol of national and patriotic constants in its confrontation with imperialist hegemony and its support for the national forces demanding freedom, sovereignty and dignity, expressing his hope that the Syrians will enjoy stability and security and contribute to restoring what was destroyed by terrorism and terrorists.
14 martyrs were killed and a number of others were wounded last Wednesday as a result of the terrorist detonation of two explosive devices that targeted a military overnight bus as it passed near the President Bridge in Damascus.
