Smoke Screen: When Hollywood is busy rendering and not human life Israel today

2021-10-23T20:11:21.717Z

The defense system around Hollywood celebrities is working hard to come up with answers and remove question marks - more than to protect human lives and make sure there are no live bullets in the Props gun.

From Gal Gadot to Sylvester Stallone, I do not remember when I interviewed a Hollywood star promoting a new action movie and he did not take a moment to talk to praise the professional team that helped him with the martial arts and accessories that accompanied him in the impressive action scenes.

As if it were a clause in the contract that they had to explicitly mention attached to them by a skilled professional who explained what it looked like when they were in a fight scene or holding a rifle in the most authentic and safe way.

From my acquaintance with the Americans, probably in the film industry, I have been able to get acquainted with all the unions and guilds of every professional in his field, from actors to photographers.

Take care of their friends' conditions, from the strict working hours and health insurance that covers them and their families to enforcing their working conditions, such as receiving meals on time, especially when they are away from home in a photo set for long weeks, and the union is the address in every trouble.

everything is under control.

This is ostensibly a salient feature of the American nation, all according to the book, boasting that they do not take risks, make sure everything is done neatly and without skipping steps along the way - the entire insurance industry is based on it, mainly to prevent any possible future lawsuit.

Then comes the tragic shooting in Alec Baldwin's set and everyone catches their head - how did such a thing happen?

Since the case was published, the headlines are full of question marks.

All of those unions have come out with messages in which they express deep sorrow and call for a comprehensive investigation to prevent the next disaster.

They try to convey that accidents, tragic as they may be, can happen, and the right thing to do is to understand the circumstances in depth and be smart.

And along the way it turns out that non-union members worked on the set.

At the same time, in some media outlets there were those who also took care to semantically re-style the headline.

After the initial report of "Baldwin shot a photographer" in some places the wording changed to "Baldwin grabbed a gun from which a bullet was fired", a guideline to sum up the incident as a terrible and unfortunate mistake, but that Baldwin, as they say, got into the situation.

The actor was not arrested for questioning beyond the initial interrogation, issued a statement about how heartbroken he was and the preoccupation remained with deciphering who was responsible for the default which he also fell victim to.

This is not to say that Baldwin or any other player who was in his place is to blame, but an insight that the defense system around the entire business is working hard to come up with answers and remove question marks - more than defending human lives and making sure there are no live bullets in a Props gun, for example.

After all, Knesset is a term we know from the IDF, but it certainly has a brother and a brother in all kinds of settings in life and in the world.

And yes, you can also find it in a Hollywood scent in the great America.
