Sona is subjected to (attacks) and Sudanese forces issue a warning

The Director General of the Sudanese News Agency “SUNA” Mohamed Abdel Hamid revealed that the agency was attacked by unknown persons, which led to the postponement of a press conference for the Central Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change for several hours.

Abdel Hamid said in a statement broadcast by "SUNA" agency that "the group that was mobilized in front of Sona was transported by cars, and then additional numbers of about 150 people arrived.

In turn, the Sudanese Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change warned of what they described as a "creeping coup", declaring their support for Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok.

Yasser Arman, a member of the Leadership Council of the Forces for the Declaration of Freedom and Change, said in his statement, which was postponed two hours, that the current crisis is made in the form of a creeping coup, at a time when protesters have closed the main port of Port Sudan in the east of the country for about a month, and hundreds of other protesters have been carrying out a sit-in a week ago near the presidential palace to demand the formation of a “government.” military.”

In turn, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok denied his approval of a cabinet reshuffle or any change in the transitional authorities, at a time when rumors about this have been increasing for days.

Last September, the Sudanese government and army announced that they had thwarted a coup attempt in the country and arrested those involved. Sudanese Prime Minister Hamdok considered the attempt an indication of the need to reform the country's security and military services.
