Messages sent in various WhatsApp groups in the Bedouin sector show a poster asking residents in the area not to purchase at the "Big" shopping center in Be'er Sheva, and to buy only in local Bedouin localities. The move comes after last week the heads of the Bedouin sector protested against "campaigns leading the incitement against the Bedouin in the Negev."

The chairman of the Rahat Forum, Bloody Talal Silman al-Karnoi, said in response to the boycott of the shopping cart: and deal with the problems together.

"I understand why there is a desire of the Bedouin residents not to buy from that business owners who incite them against the Bedouin sector," added the head of the Forum of Rahat. "I think we should buy a handful advocating boycott.I hope that the mayor of Be'er Sheva will change his position and think about cooperation. "

Bedouin sector leaders held a joint press conference last week, in which they protested against the voices of right-wing organizations that organized anti-crime demonstrations in the south, as part of "campaigns leading to incitement against the Bedouin in the south."

"They oppose the development of Bedouin communities in the Negev and now they are complaining against crime," said Huda Abu 'Abid, a social activist in the Bedouin sector.

"We are against crime but in favor of development. Crime is the result of many years of neglect."

The Negev Rescue Committee said: "We deplore the fact that extremists in Bedouin society are busy boycotting instead of condemning and condemning those who violate the peace of life of all Negev residents, Bedouin and Jews. The time has come for Bedouin society to come out in a voice of condemnation and not a boycott."
