According to its own information, the company currently supplies five places in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district with 5G.
5G technology will be installed at four other Vodafone locations in the district by mid-2022 - including in Loisach Valley.
Because Schlehdorf is planned, plus Jachenau, Gaißach and Egling.
The medium-term goal is to "connect the entire population in the district to the 5G network, if possible," according to the group.
For a nationwide 5G network, Vodafone will initially use the existing mobile network infrastructure to a large extent and put its 5G antennas "wherever possible" into operation at the existing locations.
The currently 33 mobile radio stations in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen are to be gradually upgraded with the new technology in the coming years - for example on masts, observation towers, church towers and on the roofs of town halls, office buildings and residential buildings.
