An international dog show initiated by the Israeli Kennel Club, in collaboration with Royal Property, was held this month at Nof Galil Park.
Hundreds of dogs from dozens of different breeds participated in the competition, including: Duga Duga, Terriers, Palms, Spitz Breeds, Hounds, Hunting Dogs, Retrievers, Spaniel, Tiny Dogs and Spirit Dogs.
In addition to the big winners in the first three places in the competition, during the show there were also various dog sports and discipline shows such as: agility, a work and service dog show, a frisbee show and more.
The criteria in the competition are: health, good character, being the dog is sociable and part of the family, because today most of the dogs in the world are pets.
The exhibition actually celebrates the special connection between dogs and humans.
The competitions include character demonstrations such as "Agility" - an obstacle course that the dog goes through with a tunnel, a bridge, jumps in the shortest time and more.
Also in the competition there are shows of training and discipline, such as the one used in the dog units in the army.

First place went to a German Shepherd bitch, second place went to a giant poodle and third place went to a beagle. The German Shepherd bitch, who goes by the name "Sonny", and came first in the competition, won a variety of titles: first place in the champion class, title of champion, winner in the female category and winner of the breed. They also won the national breed category - the Canaanite dog named "Toffee" and the Israeli champion in the working class and first place in the males category - a German shepherd named "Diablo".
According to Tal Yaffe, spokesman for the Israeli Kennel Club, the purpose of the exhibition and the presentation of the dogs is "first and foremost to connect and bring the general public closer to the world of documented canine, learn to understand them and of course know the different characteristics of each breed." "It emphasizes the dog's health, both physically and mentally, along with other characteristics unique to each breed according to its age and sex, and these are the main criteria that make it possible to track responsible and documented breeding for generations."

The dog show is divided into arenas, and the dogs enter the classes by age and sex, starting with the toddlers, puppies, young, adolescents, an open class for dogs earning degrees, a champion class, a work class or service for dogs that have been trained and disciplined and the senior class named as parameters. Health and fitness.
At first each race was judged separately.
The judge selects a dog whose fit is good, according to criteria of movement, physical balance, condition of the fur, character.
In the competition, males and females, couples, puppies, toddlers, the elderly and habitats compete for the titles.
The judge chooses which of the competing dogs represents the breed he belongs to in the best and most appropriate way.
For the most part, there are 10 arenas in the show and this year 857 dogs participated in the competition.

As mentioned, in the competition she won first place - the title of the exhibition star and champion of the champions, a 6-year-old German Shepherd bitch named "Sunny", raised in an Israeli breed by Ofer Sheetrit.

Second place in the show went to a giant white poodle, named "Vegas", a two-year-old poodle who immigrated from Russia, and is owned by Irena Greenberg.
The giant poodle is a dog that was originally intended for hunting ducks and its name in the original language (French) is "Canish", which is the name commonly used for the duck female.
Vegas fur, is told in a "lion" haircut that has already become an icon when it comes to race.
The fur is hypoallergenic and unlike other breeds hardly falls out.

The poodle breed includes four sub-breeds: toy poodle, dwarf poodle, medium poodle, giant poodle.

The beagles belong to the family of hounds that have accompanied humans in packs since early times in history. This term referred to the fact that it is a noisy breed, having a tendency to bark when in a bunch. Beagle dogs are very intelligent and very happy, they are gentle and full of joy of life, curious and sweet and they connect with anyone who gives them attention and love. This is a very sociable and excellent dog for families with young children and adults of all ages. In addition, they usually get along well with other dogs, but can usually not be trusted with other unsupervised pets.
