The Central Meteorological Bureau of Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation announced that at 1:11:34 this afternoon, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Nanao Township, Yilan County, 22.7 kilometers south of the Yilan County Government, with a depth of 66.8 kilometers.
Yilan County has the largest earthquake intensity of magnitude 4, and other parts of Taiwan, including Taipei, also have the largest earthquake intensity of magnitude 4.
