Andrei Medvedev made history this morning (Sunday) when he won a bronze medal in the jumping exercise at the World Instrumental Gymnastics Championships.
Medvedev jumped twice and received a high average score of 14.649 points, which secured him a place on the podium and the biggest achievement of his career.
Medvedev to the final from fifth place in the qualifiers, after achieving a weighted score of 14.716.
After failing to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics, Medvedev decided to continue his campaign for Paris 2024 and he opens his way wonderfully.
