The Atlanta Braves defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series to clinch the National League pennant and advance to the World Series, where they will They will face the American League champion, the Houston Astros.
NLCS hero Eddie Rosario delivered the big blow for Atlanta with a three-run homer in the fourth inning by Dodgers starter Walker Buehler to give Atlanta a 4-1 lead in the game.
It was the most of Rosario's 14 hits in the series, tying a record for most hits in an MLB postseason series.
Buehler was forced to start Game 6 for an injury-stricken Dodgers.
Starting pitcher Max Scherzer was relieved due to muscle fatigue in his pitching arm.

The Braves will make their first World Series appearance since 1999 and will seek their second World Series crown since the team moved to Atlanta in 1966. The Atlanta Braves' other championship came in 1995.
