Coach colleague Steffen Baumgart from 1. FC Köln sees the quick separation of VfL Wolfsburg from head coach Mark van Bommel as critical.

Wolfsburg announced the separation from van Bommel with immediate effect on Sunday around 24 hours after the 2-0 defeat against SC Freiburg.

Former Bayern professional van Bommel only took over Champions League participant Wolfsburg from Oliver Glasner this summer.
