Five Covid patients are on intensive, four have to be ventilated.
This is reported by Sascha Alexander, spokesman for the clinic.
Often there is not a single space left in the intensive care unit and attempts are made to “relocate” patients to other hospitals - a very difficult undertaking.

In most of the hospitals in Upper Bavaria, the intensive care units are already full, reports Alexander.
The “clinic traffic light” introduced by politicians is rather misleading here.
They still point to green while the intensive care units are already fully occupied.
"Politicians wanted to get rid of the corona problem in one stroke," says Alexander.
“The reality in most of the hospitals in Upper Bavaria is different.” In fact, some districts in the south have reached record-breaking incidence values.
Clinic groans under the onslaught
The corona isolation ward at the Freising Clinic is also already occupied by eight patients, all of whom have to be cared for separately and at great expense (protective suits, etc.).
The clinic is groaning under the onslaught of patients anyway: the hospital is practically fully booked.
"We could provide even more if we had more staff," emphasizes Alexander.
However, there is a lack of skilled workers, especially in the care sector.
