Today, civil defense elements in Homs, in cooperation with the extinguishing of the Directorate of Agriculture, put out a fire that broke out in olive trees and dry herbs in the agricultural lands of the village of Fahel in the western countryside of the governorate.
Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, director of civil defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch’s operations room received a report about a fire in the agricultural lands of the village of Fahel. To prevent it from recurring, he pointed out that the area of the fire is estimated at five dunams, planted with about 50 olive trees.
