In a few weeks, as part of a project by the Spanish beer brand "Austria Dam", chef Tomer Tal will host Michelin-winning Spanish chef Kim Caslias for three days of Spanish concept meals • "I am sure Israelis will connect with Spanish cuisine," said the chef.

The month of November will be full of particularly interesting culinary projects, and we will write quite a bit about them in the coming days.

The first thing we will talk about is a particularly interesting collaboration between Chef Tomer Tal of the "George and John" restaurant and the Spanish chef Kim Caslias, the chef of the Casamar restaurant in Spain, which is decorated with a Michelin star.

The two created a Spanish-Israeli menu that will be served for three days at the George and John restaurant under the auspices of the Spanish capital "Astraya Dam", which after the pop-up paella project with chef Barak Yehezkeli, continues the Spanish culinary accessibility line to Israel.

On November 6-8, diners will be able to come to Tal's restaurant and enjoy three completely different Spanish meals.

On 6.11, on Saturday, a Spanish brunch will be served at a price of NIS 155 per person, while on subsequent days, rich tapas meals will be served at a price of NIS 315 per diner, with beers of course.

The two chefs at their meeting in Spain,

"The truth is that when we approached me with the offer, I agreed straight away," Tal tells us.

"I went to Spain to the Casamar restaurant to meet with the chef and create the menu with him and it was perfect. These were three days of concentrated work of building a menu"

"Chef Kim Casillias' restaurant is in Costa Brava, two hours from Barcelona, the chef entertained us in an amazing, warm and welcoming way and let us taste all his dishes. The crazy and quiet location there, with the sea view, allowed us to work in harmony and produce amazing dishes, really not "I could have asked for more than that - to work in such a location with raw materials and a talented chef who lives the Spanish cuisine. I look forward to the chef's arrival in Israel and cooking with him."

Why Spanish cuisine?

"I have quite a history with Spanish cuisine. I have hosted and hosted all kinds of Spanish cuisines in the past. There is something similar in our local food to Spanish food. Emphasis on fish and seasoning, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants that we in Israel love and know well star in Spain.

Tell us a little more about the menu

"Spanish concept meals are available for three days. On Saturday there will be a Spanish brunch menu and the other two days we will offer a tapas dinner in the evening accompanied by Astra Dame. There will be a dish called" Padua "a paella dish Forest, sardines, anchovies, fresh fish, Spanish cheese wrapped in white chocolate and more.

Spanish food with its roots is a tapas dish that comes to the center of the table that you enjoy sharing, it is also very suitable for the Israeli audience.

This way we will also be accessible in the project and we will turn George and John into a tapas restaurant where guests can enjoy a wider variety of food.

All the dishes were built so that they would accompany the beer and compliment each other. "
