The Water Corporation has completed the maintenance of two new wells and a horizontal water pump in the Allouk water project that feeds the city of Hasaka and the western countryside with water, as part of its continuous efforts to put the project to its full production capacity after carrying out the necessary maintenance.
The Director of the Water Corporation, Mahmoud Al-Akla, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the two wells and the pump were maintained and put into service again, and included the mechanical and electrical equipment in them, bringing the total number of working wells in the project to 24 wells, in addition to five horizontal pumps, which contributed to the stability of the reality of pumping water to the subscribers in the city of Hasaka And the regularity of pumping days according to the rationing program in force.
Al-Okla pointed out that the Corporation is continuing maintenance work in the project to include all operating wells, which amount to 34 wells, in addition to 12 horizontal pumps, indicating that the Corporation is currently investing 22 wells and 4 horizontal pumps to produce sufficient quantities of water in each pumping operation, while the remaining wells and pumps remain as a reserve. It is entered into service in the event that one of the wells or pumps fails and stops working.
It is noteworthy that the Water Corporation has completed the maintenance of 16 wells and two pumps since it introduced maintenance workshops to the Allouk station last month after a hiatus of several months as a result of the practices of the Turkish occupier.
