Moosinning - With a 2-0 win (0-0) at SV Saaldorf, FC Moosinning has clinched their third away win in a row.
The yellow-blacks delivered a squeaky clean performance and did not allow any reasonable goal opportunity against their table neighbors.
So they are back in the battle for second place in the district league.
For the third time in a row, coaches Christoph and "Giggs" Ball were able to send the same formation into the race. The teams gave each other nothing. At the beginning of the game, referee Ronny Schmidt was also involved, who shot a little over the target in his demeanor at one point or another. The players knew how to deal with the situation. The healthy tough duel remained, the manners normalized, and Moosinning came up with the first opportunities. In the 20th minute, goalkeeper Thomas Kern had no trouble with a free kick from Mäx Lechner. Five minutes later he was just able to parry another free kick from Lechner for a corner. In the 31st minute, Florian Jakob passed Thomas Auerweck on the left, but with his weaker right foot he managed only one shot. It was the same with his brother Alex,who targeted the keeper free in front of the gate. Moosinnings goalie Philipp Strunk had a restful afternoon, because his defense didn't allow anything before the break.
In the second section, Saaldorf took matters a little higher. Apart from a harmless shot by Michael Schreyer exactly in the middle of the goal, they had no dangerous actions to record. On the other hand, the Moosinninger rewarded themselves for their committed demeanor. In the 63rd minute, Florian Jakob pushed through to Maxi Lechner on the right, and he overcame the keeper with a shot into the far corner to make it 1-0.
Saaldorf braced himself against the defeat, but a blocked shot by Michael Hauser in the hands of Strunk, and a corner that Hauser chased two meters over the goal was all that came in the direction of Moosinninger Tor.
On the other side, the yellow-blacks closed the bag in the 82nd minute.
Giggs ball was fouled on the right sideline, Mäx Lechner pulled the free kick in, and while standing on the long pentagon, Ball headed the ball to make it 2-0.
Moosinning routinely brought the lead over time and then treated himself to a boozy ride home in the bus.
