"Match for All Immigrants":
A new application by the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption and the Jewish Agency will be matched on the basis of personalization between Israeli mentors and new immigrants, to assist them prior to their immigration and during their absorption in Israel.
The project will be presented to the Jewish Agency's Board of Trustees, which convenes this week with the participation of Aliyah and Absorption Minister Pnina Temano Sheta, Acting Jewish Agency Chairman Yaakov Hagoel and hundreds of community leaders.

The Minister of Immigration and Absorption, Pnina Tamano Sheta, said: "We continue to work for the immigrants. Connecting new immigrants with veteran 'mentors', living in Israel, is a key to good and successful absorption and will greatly facilitate the immigration process of new immigrants. The absorption process is inherently difficult. "And today we provide immigrants with another tool that will facilitate them and assist them in successful immigration and absorption in Israel."

The project will be presented by the director of the Jewish Agency, Amira Aharonovich, in the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Agency, which will be held virtually this week with the participation of hundreds of leaders of Jewish communities. Tens of thousands of immigrants from all over the world come to Israel every year and contribute to medicine, science, security, culture and sports. A new application, developed by the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption and the Jewish Agency, will match based on personalization between new immigrants speaking different languages and Israeli mentors from around the country, who will contribute their personal life experience to educate immigrants and give them social advice and support for immigration to Israel.

The adjustment between the new immigrants and the Israeli mentors will take place even before the immigrants arrive in Israel, using the digital platform, based on various characteristics such as language, age, marital status, professional occupation, the immigrant's country of origin, the mentor's receiving authority and common interests.
The mentors will provide the immigrants with social support and tips from daily life in the various cities in Israel and will support them with practical and emotional questions - starting with recommendations related to the education system.
