The Be'er Sheva District Court today (Sunday) allowed the publication of the name of Hassan Abu Ghraiba, a 32-year-old resident of Lakia, who is suspected of committing serious sexual offenses as part of his work as a psychiatrist at a medical institution in Be'er Sheva.
The Israel Police appealed to the public and called on women who were victims or anyone who had information about Hassan Abu Ghraiba to come to the police station or call Hotline 100.
The police opened an investigation on October 3 on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses by a doctor who worked at a medical institution in Be'er Sheva against a young woman from the south, who asked him for advice during a shift.
The police statement further stated that after contacting him the suspect carried out his plot.
The young woman's complaint was made possible after she filed it through a representative of the Center for Victims of Sexual Offenses.
Upon moving to an open investigation, the suspect was arrested on October 11, and since then his detention has been extended from time to time until October 25.
During the period of his detention, the Israel Police requested permission to publish his name, and today, as stated, the District Court accepted the position of the Be'er Sheva station investigators and allowed the publication of the suspect's name and photo.
