The scene took place in the heart of the capital, in the 1st arrondissement, at the Pont Neuf.
Around 2:30 a.m., a young man was finishing his evening, accompanied by three friends, including several girls, when he was violently attacked by two individuals, visibly drunk: "
Dirty nigger,"
he says to him.

The two attackers do not stop there.
They target the victim by pushing her, punching and kicking her.
His friends try to intervene but are also the target of attacks.
The two tipsy individuals then quickly left the scene but were stopped a few steps away by a police patrol.
The victims' testimony and the consultation of the video surveillance confirm their involvement, they are then placed in police custody for willful violence aggravated by three circumstances (in a meeting, in a state of drunkenness and because of the origin of the main victim. )

In front of the police, the two accused, aged 26 and 31, would have persisted in their racist remarks, according to our colleagues from the

At the end of their police custody, they were brought before the criminal court on Thursday and will be tried on December 2, the Paris prosecutor's office tells us.
