Berlin - The laudation for Knobloch is given by the President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Stephan Harbarth.

The 88-year-old (birthday October 29) was President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany from 2006 to 2010, and also Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress from 2005 to 2013.

Libeskind is being recognized by the curator and art dealer Daniella Luxembourg.

The 75-year-old architect, whose buildings are celebrated internationally, is also responsible for the extension of the Jewish Museum Berlin, which was completed in 1999.

Chancellor Angela Merkel (2011), the conductor Daniel Barenboim (2006) and the artist Anselm Kiefer (2019) have also been honored to date.
