Elements of the judicial police in the Homs Electricity Company organized 633 seizures of illegal electricity extraction during the third quarter of this year in Homs and its countryside.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Eng. Saleh Omran, the company’s director, said that the inspection tours included various areas, including (Al-Hilaliya, Al-Bayyadiyah, Al-Khalidiya, Deir Baalba, the industrial city of Hasya, the city center, Tripoli road, Al-Sayed village and Al-Duwayr village).
According to Omran, these tours aim to control the illegal use of electric current in order to improve the reality of electricity and increase the reliability of the electric network in the governorate.
