The owner of the project, Qaisar Jamil Ali, told SANA reporter, “Although I have a private business and I am not a farmer, but I like to eat what I grow and have healthy food without chemical fertilizers and irrigate it with clean water. I chose my 300-meter garden and divided it into equal parts and planted it.” A number of types of local and imported vegetables and fruits.

He added that he had planted cabbage, cabbage, radish, cauliflower, parsley, mint, cucumber, tomato, eggplant, beans, Chinese grapes, walnuts, dwarf lemons, chicory, chocolate, cream, mango, papaya, apples of all kinds, bananas, the tree of life (Moringa) and others, in addition to some flowers and medicinal herbs. Regarding his interest in his garden, Ali says that he started coordinating his garden about two years ago and that it does not take him much time, whether planting or irrigation, as he fills his spare time during holidays and after his job work. His wife, Dora Suleiman, says that she prepares most of the meals from the seasons of the home garden. She adds that I have prepared from her seasons winter supplies of makdous, pickles, beans, beans, grape leaves, tomato molasses, peppers and other garlic, onions and mint, which can be preserved and dried.

As for developing the garden into a commercial one, the couple affirms that they do not wish to do so, but they feel satisfied and happy when presenting some of the garden’s fruits to the neighborhood and friends.
