Rob Mali, the Biden special envoy to Iran and who has been working for months to return Iran to resume talks between the United States and Iran, said today (Monday) in a telephone briefing to dozens of journalists around the world that "the window to diplomacy will never close."
Mali claimed during the briefing that the powers were "at a critical time regarding the possibility of returning to the original nuclear deal," adding: "We believe the only solution to the nuclear problem is diplomatic. Iran says it wants to return to talks but does not. If it returns, it will not be too difficult "To the agreement, because all that is required is their compliance with the restrictions set by the nuclear agreement and the cancellation of the sanctions imposed by the international community, which are not within the framework of the agreement."

Mali added that the only restriction on the diplomatic channel was "technical", because "Iran's current activities (enriching uranium to a level exceeding 60% - ie), will not technically allow a return to the agreement and in such a case the agreement will no longer be relevant." However, Mali stressed that even in such a case, the US believes that the solution to the problem should be diplomatic.
