A driving ban imposed on him did not prevent a 20-year-old man in Einbeck (Northeim district) from sitting further behind the wheel - even in front of the eyes of the judiciary.
The man drove up to the district court in Einbeck to surrender his driver's license because of a driving ban, as the police announced on Monday.
But when the 20-year-old left the court shortly afterwards on Friday morning without a driver's license, court officials observed how the man got behind the wheel of his car and drove away from the court parking lot.
