It will meet on Tuesday (2 p.m.) for its first meeting after the House of Representatives election.

The two previous parliamentary group chairmen Anne Helm and Carsten Schatz are standing for election.

The duo was only elected to office in June 2020 after the long-standing group leaders Carola Bluhm and Udo Wolf no longer took office.

Berlin - Helm was able to prevail against Franziska Brychcy, who had declared her opponent at short notice.

Brychcy is now running for deputy group leader, just like Manuela Schmidt.

Both have already belonged to the board of directors, Schmidt was also Vice-President of the House of Representatives.

Tobias Schulze, already one of the deputy parliamentary group leaders, is running again.

On the other hand, Katrin Seidel no longer competes for it.

Regina Kittler can no longer stand as a candidate, she missed her entry into the state parliament.

Other posts are also elected, such as that of Parliamentary Director.

For this, Steffen Zillich competes again.
