Greifenberg - The green heart project BürgerBudget conquers the Ammersee west bank.

Schondorf was a pioneer and Utting followed suit, but has not yet presented the projects.

Greifenberg in the fast lane now presented the twelve pre-selected “Ideas for Greifenberg”, as the citizens' budget is now called, in the old school.

Mayor Patricia Müller gave the go-ahead for the vote and was pleased that 13,000 euros are available for the implementation. The community provides three euros per inhabitant and the sponsor Robert Hullisch receives 4,700 euros and 2,000 euros from Enrico Stasik. Thankfully, the Schondorf neighbors were allowed to peek at the drafting of the regulations. The organizational team Natalia Ritzkowsky, Grete and Jan Veira as well as Peter Uffelmann as representative of the municipal council went through a learning process with “project logic versus administrative logic”. When the voting cards were distributed in the village, Peter Uffelmann noticed a “benevolent response” and social cohesion in all parts of the village.

Anyone from Greifenberg with their main place of residence in the community aged 14 and over is now spoiled for choice. A total of ten points and a maximum of six for a project may be given. The cards must be placed in the town hall mailbox or in the ballot box in the town hall.

Votes include a tree house with several platforms and a cable car, a new basketball hoop on the cane lock area or ten thousand flower bulbs on community space. A boules alley accessible to all is to be built on the property next to the town hall and the avenue of lime trees along Schondorfer Straße could be continued. A family would like a Kneipp pool combined with a water playground similar to the wildlife park in Landsberg. The proposal for nesting boxes, bat boxes and insect hotels on public properties can hope for many points. There is also a choice of “exchange place for things in good condition” at the Greifenberg recycling center.

The Greifenberg municipal council will vote on the implementation of the projects with the most votes in its next meeting, whereby the respective cost estimates of the submitters are decisive.

The total budget must not be exceeded.
