All Brandenburg dishes are to be equipped with free WiFi. Justice Minister Susanne Hoffmann (CDU) announced on Monday that the project with costs of 840,000 euros will be financed from funds from the former party and mass organizations of the GDR and will now be implemented gradually. The aim is to ensure that all parties involved in the publicly accessible areas of the courts have uncomplicated and secure access to the Internet.
Potsdam - In particular, the professional parties involved in the proceedings, such as lawyers and experts, will have to process their files primarily digitally from next year, the ministry said.
"The obligation to use electronic legal transactions as of January 1, 2022 represents a milestone on the way to digitization of the judiciary," said Hoffmann.
"It is therefore logical that we should also provide those involved in the proceedings in the courts with the technical infrastructure they need to use their electronic files and documents." Dpa
