Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announced this Sunday that he tested positive for covid-19.
"A quick note to tell you that I unfortunately tested positive for covid so I am now isolated and following government guidelines," the 30-year-old artist said in a statement posted on his verified Instagram account.
Sheeran does not mention whether he is vaccinated against the coronavirus or not.
The news comes ahead of the expected release of his fourth album scheduled for Friday, four years after he will begin recording it.
