In one of the largest car deals in history, and the largest electric car deal ever, Hertz car rental company announced the purchase of 100,000 Tesla 3 models for $ 4.2 billion.
Following the deal, Tesla's value crossed the trillion dollars for the first time.
Following the deal, the new fleet of cars will be available for rent starting in November across the US and some European countries. Hertz's plan is to gradually convert all of its 500,000 cars into electric cars.

It should be noted that the Hertz company has recently undergone bankruptcy proceedings, and this is a move by the company's new owners - with the aim of refreshing the services it offers.
In addition, because Hertz has acquired a large share of Tesla's production capacity in this deal, other companies in the rental market will not be able to follow suit.
Following the transaction, the shares of the two companies soared.
