There was a burglary at No. 40 Cloud View Road, North Point. At 10:12 pm today (24th), the police received a report from a woman in the housing estate, stating that the windows were damaged and there were traces of ransack in the house. The burglar broke the window and broke into the house.
The police arrived at the scene and intercepted the culprits but did not find them.
The 60-year-old female head of the household surnamed Huang reported the loss of property worth about 1 million yuan.
The police arrived at the scene and after preliminary calculations, a batch of jewelry worth about 393,000 yuan, gold objects of about 231,000 yuan, about 100,000 yuan in cash and 50,000 yuan in foreign currency were missing in the unit.
After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as a burglary and was handed over to the seventh team of the Eastern District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.
